From Concept to Completion: Interior Design at La-Z-Boy

This section showcases my work as an interior designer at La-Z-Boy, highlighting my process from initial concepts to finished spaces. Projects include 3D floor plans, inspiration boards, and real-life photos, demonstrating my ability to translate client needs into functional and stylish interiors.

With a degree in Textiles and a passion for fabrics, I bring expertise in selecting soft goods and upholstery, ensuring that every design is not only visually appealing but also comfortable and tailored to the client's lifestyle. Over time, I have also honed my appreciation for furniture, developing skills in incorporating case goods and home accessories to create well-balanced and cohesive spaces.

The Orinskis came to La-Z-Boy looking for a sectional for their new home, but the project quickly evolved into a full house redesign. Using images from the home listing and a blueprint, I designed a cohesive furniture plan that complemented the space. I managed the selection, ordering, and delivery of all furnishings, ensuring everything was ready as soon as they moved in. This project highlights my ability to transform a home through thoughtful design, space planning, time management, and seamless execution.

After years of searching for the right furniture—only to discard and replace it—the Soos family was determined to break the cycle. They visited our showroom with the goal of finding the perfect, lasting pieces for their living room. Now retired and spending more time at home, they envisioned a space where their family could come together, whether for conversation or movie nights. Thoughtful selections, including swivel chairs that allow for easy interaction, helped bring their vision to life.
